Lilybod, the Brand:
Hailing from down under, Lilybod has a strong aesthetic that is at once no-nonsense and bold. The Australian activewear range is centered on a predominantly black or navy palette, and yet makes the most foundational of colors look fresh every season, thanks to well-placed design accents. Of course, for those who prefer monochrome, that option is available in abundant styles and cuts too.
The Bailey Set:
The "Bailey" sports bra and leggings came out in 2019 and stood out with its punchy red-and-white piping, which are unique when worn together but understated enough to be paired separately too. Less visible are the laser cut-out dots on the lower front of the sports bra and on one side of the leggings, which give a perforated look that is not usually found on activewear. Criss-cross back cutout on the sports bra and stripes on the leggings round out the design.
It's been three years since I first got the "Bailey" set and it has hold up well. The black remains the blackest of black and barely catches any lint. The fit is snug as ever. If I may, it is a bit too snug, which is fine for working out but not for lounging around. "Bailey" is the first of the many Lilybod sets I own and I look forward to introducing the other members of the gang on See the Music, Hear the Dance.

SMusicHDance checklist:
Padding for sports bra: Yes, removable (comes with inserts)
Sports bra straps: Non-adjustable
Legging rise: High rise
Legging length: Full length
Pockets on leggings: No pockets
Support level: Good for running and other gym workout. The leggings are squat-proof and not see-through. Sweat wicking.
Comfort level: I love this set for working out but would not recommend it for lounging around.
Fit: Runs small. Lilybod has its own size conversion, based on which I should be Sz Small (US4 / UK8 / AU8 / EU36), but I generally size up for comfort. For the "Bailey" set I got Sz Small for the sports bra (because Sz Medium was sold out) and Sz Medium for the leggings. I can fit in Sz Small but wish Sz Medium was available. Lilybod's fit is snug and its Sz Small feels smaller than other activewear brands'.
Please bear in mind that the US size refers to activewear size, not regular clothes. Speaking from experience, I find North American activewear sizing to run much smaller compared to that of regular clothes. A good benchmark for US activewear sizing is Lululemon, which makes activewear sized 0-20. The size you wear in Lululemon is your US size.

Buying Online:
Lilybod activewear is available through the brand's own site, which ships worldwide and offers free shipping to the US for orders over US$99, and to the rest of the world for orders over US$180. Returns within 30 days of receipt are accepted for non-sale items, but you have to pay for your own return shipping. Customer service is friendly and would check different warehouses even at sales time to help you hunt down your size. The above terms are applicable at the time of this writing and you may refer to Lilybod's website for any update.
The "Bailey" set came out in 2019 and is no longer available. For your consideration, I have linked below my suggestions for the current season. *This is not a sponsored post. I acquired the products on my own and receive no compensation for any purchases made via the links.
